Our Mission

The mission of Beyond Dance, LLC is to partner with schools in order to provide a high quality dance program to students in grades Pre-K through 8th after school. Beyond Dance, LLC recognizes what a financial burden it can be for children to participate in extra curricular activities, so we strive to make dance affordable for everyone.  Beyond Dance was created to help children develop confidence , discipline ,  respect , healthy relationships ,and high self esteem through instruction, performance, and group activities. Beyond Dance , LLC provides opportunities outside of dance to cultivate a long lasting and strong bond between the dancers , teachers and families.

What We Offer

Beyond Dance, LLC partners with schools. A staff member of Beyond Dance, LLC will come to the specified school to offer dance classes. Upon registering, a dancer will be placed in class by age and ability. The styles of dance offered are as follows: ballet, tap, modern/lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. Two semesters of dance are offered throughout the year (fall and spring). We follow the school district's schedule related to emergencies and holidays. A style of dance will be offered to age groups on a rotating basis in order to expose the dancers to each style of dance.

A day and time will be assigned for your child's group. The classes last an hour in duration and consist of stretching, technique, combinations, and choreography. Each dancer is required to be picked up on time when class is finished. At the end of each dance semester, Beyond Dance, LLC will host a performance.

The dancer's family is responsible for providing the appropriate and required dance shoe for the dancer's class. This information will be given to you upon registration. The dancer's family is also responsible for providing a uniform that is to be worn during class time. The uniform consists of a black leotard and nude convertible tights.

Fundraising

We raise funds to help with the cost of the show. With that comes the cost of a venue, lighting, sound, technical assistance, and much more. Therefore, each dancer is obligated to sell at least 8 boxes of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts at $10.00 per box (dozen) per semester. The fundraising total per semester for each child should total $80.00. The dancer  that sells the most doughnuts receives 6 free tickets to the end of semester performance. The dancer that sells the second highest amount will receive two free tickets. Fundraising participation is mandatory in order to participate in the show. If fundraising is not received by the due date, a donation of $80.00 is expected following only one week after the assigned fundraising due date. If this is not met, the dancer cannot perform in the show.

Ticket Sales

Each dancer is required to sell at least 8 tickets at $20.00 each for each semester's show. This is also a mandatory requirement in order to perform.
